In June, Yoga House will be hosting three events to support hormone balance. The full schedule for the month is below:
Hormone Harmony ∼ Sat 3 June, 2-4pm Nutrition workshop with Samantha Lewis (MSc, BANT, CNHC) £15 / 3 credits

If your menstrual cycle is controlling your life and you would like to feel more emotionally balanced, happy and energetic, join us at our Hormone Harmony workshop.
Special Focus Yoga Class with Natasha ∼ Sat 10 June, 2-3:15pm £7 / 1 credit (class limited to 8 people)
In this class we will focus on specific asanas (postures) which are believed to help maintain hormone balance by having a positive effect on the endocrine system. The class will include pranayama (breathing) and relaxation as part of a rounded practice to reduce overall stress levels and leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Menopause Mayhem ∼ Sat 17th June Nutrition workshop with Samantha Lewis(MSc, BANT, CNHC) £15 / 3 credits
Following on from Hormone Harmony, this workshop will look at specific support for women in their mid to late 40s/early 50s who are feeling confused about their hormone cycles and also for younger women who might want to best prepare for peri-menopause. Not sure about your symptoms and whether you are menopausal or not? Confused about what to do and how to best support yourself through the change? This workshop will provide you with specific dietary and lifestyle advice to help rebalance your body and ease you through the mayhem of peri-menopause and beyond.
Both of the nutrition workshops will guide you through how food affects our hormones and moods; which key nutrients help balance hormones; and how to sleep well and gain good energy. In addition to the talk, each workshop will include handouts, recipes and refreshments!
For the yoga class, please wear comfortable clothing. There are mats available at the studio, or you are welcome to bring your own. The class is not recommended for pregnant women.
There is a 24-hour cancellation period for all three events.
