Meditation and Yoga Workshop with Samantha & Natasha

A 2-hour workshop: Yoga with an introduction to meditation, suitable for beginners and experienced yogis alike. 

What is meditation and what to expect:

Meditation is a focussed relaxation practice for stilling and calming the mind. People who adopt a regular meditation practice state that their stress and anxiety levels are reduced, that concentration and memory is improved, they sleep better and feel happier and more balanced.

During this workshop we will explore a few different meditation techniques in short sessions so that you may experience different approaches and find one that may suit you. This will include a mixture of breathing techniques, guided meditation and mindfulness. We will perform these lying down and sitting so you may wish to bring a cosy blanket and a cushion with you to ensure your comfort.

The yoga section of the workshop is designed to help the body feel more at ease during meditation. It will involve meditative movement and stretches, all combined with breath work to help the body and mind relax.
