There are many health benefits from eating a plant based diet as a diet high in vegetables, legumes and fruits has been linked to decreased levels of heart disease, diabetes and cancers. However there are pros and cons to removing all animal products from our diet as this can lead to nutrient deficiencies particularly if the diet is unbalanced.

If you are confused or a little unsure about how to be vegan, join us at this workshop where Nutritional Therapist Samantha will share some key hints and tips to ensure your vegan diet is balanced and includes key nutrients to ensure optimum health. Samantha will share her story of going vegan over 30 years ago and what she learnt on this journey of plant based eating.

Samantha Lewis MSc, DipNT BANT, CNHC

Sam has a MSc in Personalised Nutrition from Middlesex University and a Diploma to practice from IINH, Ireland. Samantha runs a clinic in Carmarthenshire, and her areas of interest are autoimmune/inflammatory disease, digestive disorders, female hormone imbalances and thyroid disease.
