AWAKENING TO SPRING
A 3-hour yoga workshop to help you put the spring back into your yoga practice. This workshop will combine flowing yoga Asana practice, breath work/Pranayama, relaxation and meditation to help you shed winter’s lethargy and awaken your body and mind to the active and dynamic energy of spring.
This workshop will combine teaching and practice. The workshop will start with a dynamic practice to open up the body, warm up the muscles and prepare for the next part. In the second part we will spend more time learning specific postures that will help us to open the chest and the shoulders, increase vitality and strength and squeeze out any unwanted tension. We will break those postures down to get a better understanding of the dynamics within the pose which will help us to find our variation...
...so come and join us for a spring time tune up and leave refreshed, energised and calm.
Suitable for all levels of ability as well as beginners with a reasonable level of fitness.
